“In the absence of other data, the market is back to watching events in Europe’s periphery,” said Kathleen Brooks, research director at Forex .com as cited by Market Watch.
The focus is back on Ireland as forex speculation grows that the nation may soon resort to getting aid from the EU -IMF stabilization fund established earlier this year, Brooks said.
EUR/USD is threading at 1.3677
